Welcome new students! I hope your first week is going well so far! By now you should all be familiar with my classroom procedures and what to expect this school year. If you are reading this now, then you have made it to the class website, congratulations! This website will act as a guide as the semester progresses, a hub where you can find all the information you'll need outside of the class. As you can see, the top of the home page has multiple menu items. Feel free to explore these on your own, but below I will provide a summary of what you can find in each one. If you notice anything broken about the site, please let me know so I can fix it!

Home Page

This is the start page, with the introduction and the link that takes you to this page! Hello again! :)

Calendar

Here you will find the class schedule calendar. Keep up to date with assignments, homework, quizzes and exams! Pay attention to your period number to make sure you're looking at the right class.

Syllabus

This is where you can download a copy of your syllabus, lab safety agreement, and microscope user guide. As the year progresses I'll add copies of any other important handouts/paperwork you might need to reference. You should have physical copies of all of this, but I know you have many other classes and things can get misplaced!

Resources

This is my master list of resources to make your life easier! I placed everything under a subheading to make navigation easier. There are reputable scientific websites, educational tools, study tools, and awesome YouTube channels that can aide you in your learning journey! Please use these reputable sources as you search for scientific articles for assignments or extra credit opportunities!

Blog

The blog is where you can find classroom announcements, reminders, day to day summaries, words of encouragement, shout-outs, etc. This is a great resource for students who may have missed something in class because of an absence to get an idea of where we are at in the content!

About

This is just my teacher bio and introduction. if you want to learn a little more about me, you can read this page!

Teacher Philosophy

This is my personal teaching philosophy. Who I strive to be as a teacher and guide to my students. I am honored to be teaching you this year!

That's pretty much everything! If you have any questions or concerns feel free to talk to me before or after class, or send me an email! As always, have a lovely day! :)
